Writer, film maker, executive and academic
Tony was born in Hackney, London. Whilst still at school Tony won two national first prizes from sponsored writing competitions and together with some pals ran a successful underground school magazine called Fanfare.By the age of 18 Tony was writing and selling scripts and making small professional films that received public distribution.
Klinger’s book, Twilight of the Gods, about his making the film The Kids are Alright with the Who rock group was published world wide in 2009 and is available on Amazon and all good stockists. Tony premiered his film Full Circle in 2008 and is now readying several more films for production including The Man Who Got Carter about his late father, the film producer, Michael Klinger.
Until the end of 2006, Tony was Chief Executive of production-company, agency, and content creators, TLMH. Tony has an international reputation as a company leader, hands-on production executive, writer, producer and director.
Tony was the National Secretary for the Association of Media Practice Educators (AMPE) and served on the board of The Audition for Hollywood Company; he is currently the European Consultant for the American charitable organization, WordTheatre.
Tony has a couple of films in development and his Internet business and service, www.bCreativeLimited.com launches in 2010. He writes several regular blogs and articles.
Tony's most recent books, the novels, The Butterfly Boy and Breaking the Glass are due to be published in 2010/11.
